We have assembled a wonderful group of ladies (and some awesome men, too!) to work together on the God's Girls Youth Rally. Here is a tentative list of the organizers, speakers and performers: (we hope to have pictures of everyone soon!)

Spiritual Direction Committee The central oversight board of God's Girls, known as the Spiritual Direction Committee, is composed of four women from four area congregations of the Churches of Christ: Summer Cook (Grand Central), Mandee Craft (North Hills), Molly Walton (Washington), and Heather Zambito (Holiday Park). They have a burden to tell young women about the plan that God has for their lives. Equipped with a heart for young people and not so removed from their own teen years (no laughing!), these women desire to express the truths God has taught them through His Word and life experiences.
Keynote Speaker Heather Zambito is the speaker for the 2008 God's Girls Youth Rally. She has been a Christian since 1987, when she was baptized in the muddy waters of a lake at Camp Concern. Heather now serves on the Board of Directors for Camp Concern, and considers that ministry a blessed calling. Heather works part-time at WORD-FM and at KDKA-AM. She is married to Chris, a systems analyst for Alcoa Inc. She is the mother of Joshua, 6, Andrew, almost 2, and David, 8 months. Heather worships with the Holiday Park Church of Christ.
Worship Leader Shauna Casey, from the Holiday Park Church of Christ, will be our Worship Leader for God's Girls 08. Shauna is married to Michael, the associate minister for the Holiday Park Church of Christ, and they have four beautiful children: Abigail, Michael, Gloria and Naomi. We'll have a more complete bio for Shauna soon!
MC Summer Cook will be the Mistress of Ceremonies for this year's God's Girls Youth Rally. Summer hails from Parkersburg, WV. She is the Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Ohio Valley University. Prior to working at OVU, Summer graduated from there and taught English in China. Summer is engaged and will marry her best friend, Joel, in January. Joel and Summer attend the Lynn St. Church of Christ. Summer loves any opportunity that she has to work with teens.
Teacher Kristy Huntsman, from the New Brighton Church of Christ, will be one of our teachers. Check back soon for more information about Kristy!
Teacher Karen Wade, from the North Hills Church of Christ, will be another teacher at this year's God's Girls. More info about Karen will be here soon!
Teacher/Class for Chaperones Summer Cook will teach a break-out session for chaperones. In this session, chaperones will discuss what's going on in the lives (both digital and real) of their girls.
